Dr. Phu Le
Dr. Phu Le graduated with Honors from Union College in upstate New York with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology. During this time, he drew biological illustrations to pay for college expenses. His affinity for the visual arts and extensive science background motivated him to pursue a future in orthodontics. After receiving a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, Dr. Le completed a 2-year General Practice Residency at the Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, serving as Chief Resident during his second year. Afterward, he was selected into the highly competitive Albert
Einstein Orthodontic Residency Program where he received orthodontic specialty certification.
Dr. Le has enjoyed making beautiful smiles in the DC Metropolitan area since 2002. He is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, and a Board-Certified Diplomate through the American Board of Orthodontics. Dr. Le integrates his love for photography, drawing, outdoor activities, and listening to music (especially from the 80's!) with quality time spent with his wife and 3 grown kids. Dr. Le is proud to hold a 2nd Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo and was awarded a Bronze Medal in the 1987 Junior Olympics. Since 2017, Dr. Le reignited his passion for the martial arts with Brazilian Jiu-jitsu and Shaolin Kung Fu.
Dr. Le draws energy, experience, and knowledge from his personal, academic, and professional background to provide his patients with personable, fun, professional, and comprehensive orthodontic expertise.
